Before you submit

Give every document a final check.

  1. Match your details

Check names, passport numbers, dates and course details across your application, offer and supporting documents. Explain genuine differences rather than leaving them unclear.

  2. Make funding understandable

Show the amount, source and availability of funds using the evidence the authority requests. Ensure sponsor details and relationships are supported where required.

  3. Disclose your history accurately

Answer questions about earlier applications, refusals, travel and study honestly. Include relevant explanations and evidence.

  4. Use current instructions

Check the official checklist again before submitting. Save your application, uploaded records, payment confirmations and correspondence.

A little more clarity

Questions students ask

Does a university offer guarantee a visa?

No. The university decides admission, while the immigration authority decides the visa or permit application against its own requirements.

Should I pay for flights before the visa decision?

Check the authority’s instructions and the cancellation terms for any travel booking. Allow for uncertainty in visa processing and your university’s latest arrival date.

Can I rely on an old bank-balance figure or checklist?

Funding amounts, evidence rules and application processes can change. Use the current official source for your destination and circumstances.

Your next step

Prepare your file with a clear plan.

Bring your offer, academic history and funding information to a consultation so your next steps can be organised around the relevant requirements.
