Destinations to research

Look beyond a country name.

These profiles are research starting points, not a list of approved universities or guaranteed admission options.

Bring this to your consultation

Six questions for every medical school.

The academic and clinical checks

  • Which exact campus and programme will issue my qualification?
  • Which authority currently recognises or accredits this programme?
  • Where will I train with patients, in which language, and under whose supervision?

The practical and licensing checks

  • What are the tuition and other compulsory costs across the full programme?
  • Is an internship available to international graduates, and under what conditions?
  • What must I complete to register in Pakistan or my intended country of practice?

A World Directory listing alone does not confirm recognition or licensing eligibility. Ask the relevant regulator about your exact programme.

A little more clarity

Questions students ask

Are all schools in these countries recognised?

No country profile can establish the recognition of every school. Status must be checked for the exact institution, campus, programme and applicable intake.

Should I choose the lowest advertised fee?

Compare the full programme cost, clinical quality, language support, student services and licensing pathway. A low first-year price may leave out later tuition or compulsory charges.

Can I compare Australia or the UK for medicine?

Yes. Their medical admission pathways can be highly selective and may involve additional tests, interviews or graduate-entry requirements. Ask for programme-specific guidance rather than treating them as interchangeable with other destinations.

Your next step
